I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

"I tried to be good..., and then along came Anna. I wasn't so good after that."

What a gorgeous introduction to the heroine of this story, the delightful yet ever so easily influenced Juliet. How very true that the meeting of that one person who is a catalyst in ones life, or a tragic loss of parents for a child, as with Jonathan, along with the choice of who will raise him sets a pathway in place.

I absolutely adore Juliet. Her spirit and never failing sense of what is truly right made her impossible not to love. Jonathan, with his unyielding determination to avenge his parents and straight down the line character was a terrific contrast to the gorgeous Juliet and her skewed path toward being 'good'.

An absolute joy to read with the bonus at the end of spending a little time with Clarke and Amethyst from the Treasure series.

Highly recommended with lots of adventure and terrific characters.
