Check, Please! is about Eric "Bitty" Bittle, a gay amateur baker, playing ice hockey at Samwell university. This graphic novel felt like a big comfy hug. It’s so charming and often laugh out loud funny. The hockey team are all wonderful, and you can’t help but fall in love with Bitty and his southern charms. The romance could have been a little more developed, but it is very cute and you’ll see even more of it in the next book. Cannot recommend it enough!
