Ending that series with Julien and Seraphina's story is the icing on a magnificent cake.
Like all Julia Wolf's characters, Julien and Sera are wounded. Julien hides his wounds with a grumpy face, Sera hides hers with a smile. And it takes a fake relationship to make them realize that they are made for each other.
If you add a couple of twists, loved side characters, the perfect balance between angst and sweet, the icing on the cake has a wonderful flavor.
