Twisted Loyalties by Cora Reilly

2.5

I recently realised that I had never read Adamo’s book and hadn’t posted my reviews for any of the books in the series so I decided to reread them all just for that.

Here’s the thing with this one; I remember really liking this one and loving Fabiano but now that I reread it, I find the book kind of meh. Fabiano saw Leona once, judged the shit out of her and basically just grew obsessed with her (and her virginity). Leona was going through so many things all at once - her parents using her, her having to work for the Camorra because she didn’t have a degree and also Fabiano’s obsession with her.

They were cute at times and I really liked the end with Remo and Leona but overall, this wasn’t what I remembered and definitely not the best type of book there is. I have read better mafia romances.
