Wow, what a disappointment. I was expecting something goofy and funny along the lines of a Stephanie Plum novel or anything by Carl Hiaasen, but instead, this is a tonally bizarre book that reads like Weekend at Bernie's while trying to include things like racism and sexual assault. I'm not saying that important topics can't be discussed with humor, if done well, but this book doesn't hit the mark right. The inclusion of these heavy topics while basically making fun/light of everything that happens left me feeling icky and just waiting for the book to be over.
Graphic: Death and Car accident
Moderate: Sexual assault
Minor: Gun violence and Racism
