I was enjoying it until I realized a white woman wrote it… and then all of a sudden a fantasy world based off MAINLY Indian culture seemed iffy especially if you take into account that she used a simile to describe the MC as a monkey and there’s a side character who has pale skin / orange hair and doesn’t fit in / is an outcast. Idk made me feel weird…..?
