Loving Mr. Daniels
by Brittainy C. Cherry
I think this is the most emotional book I’ve read so far in my reading career. I cried because I was sad, I cried because I was happy, I cried because I was angry, I cried because I felt free.
This story about these two was the most heartbreaking and powerful thing ever. No one really knows how to truly navigate trauma, tragedy and death. There is no rule book to follow and it’s not a one size fits all situation. What works for you won’t work for someone else. However all humans need someone to count on & hold them up when they are feeling weak & that is what both Ashlyn & Daniel did for each other.
Yes this was an age gap & he was her teacher but he was 22 & she was 19 so not much of a jump.
Their story was devastatingly beautiful one can wished to be loved as deeply & fully as they loved each other.
