The Last Summer Sister
by Rachel Cullen, Rachel Cullen
I just love stories about sisters. I have 4 of my own.
Lynn and Jen don't see eye to eye about most things. But when their father dies, Lynn comes home to Chicago. At the reading of his will, there is a surprise. They have a half sister, Courtney, who is 20.
This throws an interesting dynamic into the already fragile relationship Jen and Lynn share. As they both slowly let Courtney in, other secrets and lies make their way to the surface.
I can't help but think how I'd feel to learn I had a half sister, especially as I'm the same age as Lynn in the book. I think I would have felt betrayed but also would want to get to know her.
