These Fists Break Bricks: How Kung Fu Movies Swept America and Changed the World by Chris Poggiali, Grady Hendrix

5.0

Basically what Grady Hendrix did for "Paperbacks from Hell", he does for kung fu fighting. The oversized book provides a vivid exploration of the history of kung fu flicks in America, from the days of Bruce Lee to the glorious excess that came with the 80's. It's a fun read, thanks especially to the loads of full color photos and Hendrix's often-hilarious commentary.
