 I'm on an Azalea Ellis kick. This is the first series she wrote and it kind of reads that way. It's a sci-fi survival of the fittest with some otherworldly aspects to it and fairly gorey, which I don't mind. It's certainly good, but I'm glad I read her other series first, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been as interested in her as a writer, mostly because this genre isn't my favorite. Fortunately this is a series that is fully completed, so that's nice, considering the last few books I've read. I'ma say this is a 6/10. Not bad, but I have hope that it gets better.
