Ok I always love this authors writing and this is up there with one of my favourites! Kallie is a tomboy who has secretly lusted after Jake hunt for years. Of course because she is a tomboy, and Jake is a one night only man ho, he hasn't looked at her twice. All this changes when kallie gets herself in a bar fight protecting her friends and Jake picks her up off the floor, realises she is both female and submissive and hey presto our love story begins! I loved both of these characters . Kallie gives her love freely to all her friends (and even Jake) but truly doesn't believe they could love her in return. Jakes last slave committed suicide and he takes the blame fully on his shoulders as he had just uncollared her. Because of this he truly doesn't want to feel anything for kallie and she accepts that as she doesn't feel he will love her anyway. This book has the emotionally damaged characters that I expect from Sinclair, and I loved seeing them working towards their HEA. The BDSM is light and the sex scenes smoking hot as per usual! At first the side plot of the psycho who was after Kallie was more annoying than enjoyable but when the danger levels increased so did my interest!
