I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never read anything by this author and haven’t read many romantic historical fiction books but I really enjoyed it! It definitely gave me some Bridgerton vibes (both in London, both set in 1800s) so if that is what you’re into, pick up this book. Also, a very unexpected amount of spice
