Bloodline by Jordan L. Hawk

I was a bit worried in the first third of the book that this wouldn't grab me as much as the others - not sure why, but once I got going all the goodies that make a great Whyborne and Griffin appeared and made me super happy!
Percival gets swept up in his new found cousins, almost in thrall of them, gaining confidence in his abilities and in himself - but I was worried about his not telling Griffin what he was up to all the time.
The supernatural beings and their links to the Whybornes, Endicotts and Percival in particular drew me in. Such a constant deluge of tradegy and revelations had Whyborne on the edge - and beyond at one point.
Griffin once again came through, showing his stallwart support of Whyborne even in the face of anger, shocking revelation and family machinations.
Definitely a great addition to the series, though not my own favourite in the series.
