After the Snow
by S.D. Crockett
After the Snow has an extremely unique pov and an interesting plot thread. At first I wasn't sure if Willo's voice was going to annoy me, but once I realized I'd been reading for an hour without even noticing all the aints and gonnas, I figured it was all good. The only hang up I had was the ending, which left me a tad uneasy and confused.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this novel with its fresh voice and take on dsystpian literature. It's a stand alone novel, which gets two enthusiastic thumbs(and a big toe) up from yours truly. There were some great plot twists and I felt a connection with all the characters, especially Willo. I look forward to reading more offerings from Ms. Crockett.
