Don't Make Me Think, Revisited: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability (3rd Edition) by Steve Krug
5.0
Recently I started shifting from reading for fun, to reading for a purpose. One of my goals was to be more adept at my current field.
I can say without a doubt that this is one of, if not the best, books to start with learning about UI and UX.
Don’t get the idea behind the book wrong, the examples are outdated (the webpages look far from *modern*) which makes this a bad book for researching actual modern *design* aesthetics but that doesn’t take away from what the book’s actual purpose is. And that’s to highlight how to design around **usability** or how to reduce friction users feel when using your website.
10/10 will read again in the future
