This is a weird book. But that weirdness allowed for gems of thought that would’ve been unachievable without a non-linear, slightly non-sensical plot. I imagine people who regard this as some of the best writing they’ve read (and those people exist) are likely people who do not factor into their reading experience a firm grasp on structure. Unfortunately I’m not quite there yet, but I enjoyed the reading experience non-the-less.
