ARC Review
Thank you Love Notes PR!

-Enemies to lovers
-Rival families
-Marriage of convenience

The Hunters & the Prince's have been embroiled in conflict for quite some time. Emory & Aiden were childhood rivals, always trying to one-up each other. There is a piece of land that was left and a discovery of the deed shows that there must be a marriage between heirs.

This faux marriage seems like a solid plan... until it's not. All Emory & Aiden had to do was put on public appearances and show the world how "in love" they are. Behind closed doors is something entirely different. The competition between them is fierce, and they antagonize each other at every turn! I love that the impressions these two have of each other turn out to be completely wrong. Emory is a strong FMC and Aiden is the perfect complement to her. I love a broody MMC that proves to be book boyfriend material!

The tension and yearning between these two is delicious. Their chemistry and the banter? Top Tier! Aiden shows a completely different side to imself and phew! The way he cares for her and tries to learn her because she is unwilling/unable to open up is swoon worthy.

This was a bit of a slow start for me, and I do feel like there were a couple of plot points that could have been played on more. I would have loved to see a little less of the internal battles of Emory & Aiden fighting "the end" and maybe more of the family rivalry cause a bit more drama.

Overall, a solid read that you should definitely check out!
