1 star because I normally love Paulo Coelho.

It felt forced. That and a weak attempt to sound profound. The thing with Coelho is that he normally does have me look to aspects of my life, or self, and question or ponder a few things about my choices or what I really want. Maybe I am just outgrowing his work? I first read The Alchemist when I was 20... so 12 years ago! Maybe his writing is no longer appropriate for the direction I’ve evolved? Regardless, this was a major disappointment. My fault for not opening the book before buying (I purchased in store so no excuse there).
