This book felt like fanfiction of The Deal and Spinning Out (Netflix)mixed together. I had to put this book down at several points bc of the cringe factor in certain scenes. These characters were such horn dogs and some of the dialogue and how fast the romance was really took me out of the book. The characters were very one dimensional and were obviously following tropes that just fell flat for me personally. Also I hate when characters call each other by their last names, you are a civilian, act like it!

This book is a good easy read though if you just want something silly goofy to read. But honestly I feel like The Deal has the same vibe as this book but has better romance and character development if you care about that sort of thing when reading. I don’t want to rag on this author to hard cause at the end of the day I did read this book and enjoyed parts of it, I do feel like tiktok did overhype it though and it was very wattpad. But some people like that type of vibe so this is just my personal opinion.
