Wed To The Alien Brute by January Bell

4.0

Definitely read Wed to the Alien Warlord Book 1 and Wed to the Alien Prince Book2 before reading this third book in the series.

This is a fun and entertaining series that grabs your attention and keeps you guessing and laughing at what’s going to happen next. The romance has some steam and quite a bit of romance by the large muscled, green scaled aliens. And those tails!

The first book introduced the series’ plot of human women coming to Suevan on a trade mission and find themselves married off to the Suevan males in the ‘welcome ceremony’ that was actually a wedding.

This book picks up several weeks later and Rebecca/Bex’s translator isn’t working so she can’t understand any of the Suevan’s. She is extremely frustrated with her mate’s avoidance of her. She was actually excited to be married to a big, muscular green alien.

Dergoz overheard his mate call him a monster at the mass wedding and his feelings were hurt so he does whatever he can to avoid her. He is sent on a dangerous mission to steal a database from their enemy the Roth. He is shocked to find his bride asleep on his bed inside his shuttle. These two find some middle ground and are able to finally communicate. Dergoz soon learns how talented his mate is with technology. He isn’t as thrilled with the pet she adopts when she comes across a baby alien cat she insists on keeping and naming Horatio.

I am definitely interested in reading about the other women and their Warlord husbands. It looks like Michelle and the Gladiator are next up.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
