1 cause the spice was spicing but almost did my first dnf for all the historical inaccuracies. It would have been the forties LATEST based on the ages in Off to the Races. So birth control and university wouldn't have been a thing for women especially in rural BC. The attitudes towards women, alcohol(bars) and sex were so low key and it wouldn't have been the case at the time. V contemporary romance vibes even tho its the MMC's grandparents
