having a central character that was “i’m fat, don’t bully me” as their near-entire personality was really a miss and made me less interested in engaging with the rest of the story. there is so much more to fat people than just fear and self consciousness?

the creation of confection was a really cute and curious way to introduce a new world in this series, but ultimately this one was a let down.
