***ARC Review***
This is my honest and voluntary review for the ARC I received.
I absolutely adored Dev and Tully’s story. It was really interesting seeing how much both of them were affected by their night together two years ago, only to have Tully show up with Lellie in his arms and a new title for Dev - Dada.
Dev is dealing with a lot of heartache and grief after what happened to his brother and the subsequent fallout with his parents. He is a very private person and keeps people at arms length. Tully is on the partner track at his law firm and has career aspirations that will allow him to continue to help take care of his brother. He is very dedicated to protecting Lellie.
Tully and Dev have to navigate seeing one another again under complicated circumstances. What makes it even more complicated is the feelings that they start to develop for one another. It’s clear that both men care for Lellie very much. Dev struggles with his insecurities about family and being a good parent. Tully deals with making sure he is doing right by his friend and colleague, Katie. It’s also clear how much the MCs care for each other.
I loved seeing the brotherhood - Dev’s group of college friends and his found family - back in this book. It was great seeing how much Tully, Dev, the townspeople of Majestic, Renata, and others came to care for Lellie so quickly.
This book is filled with big emotions. It will make your heart swell and ache. Lennox really does give you a lot of feels with this one. While it takes a bit of maneuvering, Dev and Tully find a way to grab ahold of their HEA. I loved their love story! I also absolutely loved the hint of Zane’s story to come at the end of this book.
