The City of Brass

An incredible world to be sucked into.
There are for sure some flaws in this, such as a very slow beginning. I picked this book up three times read the first two chapters and put it down. But once I pushed on I regretted not reading it sooner.
As well I found our main characters Nahri in particular were not as strong MCs as I desired. I found Nahri worse for this as the beginning of the book paints her as a strong female and then she kinda just lets us down. Getting a little love sick and overwhelmed with Davaebad politics.
Other then that I adored this book. The political scheming had me turning pages so fast. If you love a political fantasy with unique world building please pick this up.
You will not regret it.
I am currently on the third one and man everyone has been wronged so many times who's side do you take !!!!!
