Unsettling but really interesting to read! A dystopian-esque future that felt uncomfortably possible with how climate change and man-made pollution are heading. Really made me think about what it means to be "human" vs instinct, the complexity of bonds, relationships and communities, as well a lot of ethical questions about the lengths acceptable to go to, in order to survive and protect the largest number/strongest. So well-written; I felt fully immersed in the imagery.
