The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort

According to my Kindle, I made it a third of the way into the book, and I didn't feel like wasting any more time on it. Most of the book is Belfort swinging between being shocked and admiring his depravity. You can tell because it's difficult for him to go more than five sentences without putting in an exclamation point.

The general idea of the book becomes apparent quickly, and that's all you get because there's no plot. It's like being stuck at a bar with a rich prick who can't stop regaling you with the crazy shit he did last weekend, bro.

This could easily be one of the cases where the movie is better than the book. I'd be shocked if it wasn't.
