In The Stone Monkey, Lincoln and Amelia are tasked with tracking down 'The Ghost', a snakehead trying to kill the illegal immigrants who were aboard his ship.
For me, this fourth Lincoln Rhyme thriller was a well told, interesting and gripping installment in the series, and I especially enjoyed the development in Lincoln and Amelia's relationship.
This is only behind The Vanished Man and The Bone Collector for me, it kept me hooked and although I had an inkling about the perp, I certainly did not work out the ending, it still had me shocked!
Definitely give this one a go, the relationship aspect along with the introductions of some really likeable characters, who you feel for, plus the final twists and turns makes it a really really entertaining read.
