Zafón is without a doubt one of my most favourite authors. He knows how to spin a tale so intriguing and so captivating that there is no way you can stop reading. But there is no denying that his YA books don't quite meassure up to his adult books. That doesn't mean that I think they are in any way bad - they're just not quite there.
