This book was definitely heavier than I was expecting. I’m not usually a fan of alternating timelines but I did like seeing the buildup to the current timeline.
Addie and Deb are a delightful sister pair, but friend Marcus was absolutely annoying, and I didn’t find him to be redeemed in his story arc. He was such a messy character.
