When you start a book you often have an idea in what direction the story will go and you mentally prepare yourself for it. I didn’t expect Loveless to squeeze my heart as much as it did. I was not ready to be thrown into the story of a teenager that tries to navigate around her sexuality that so many people don’t know or don’t understand and to see this representation really made me so happy because it’s almost none existing in todays media. Even though I myself don’t identify as asexual or aromatic, seeing this representation made me think about all the people that feel seen by it and that really makes me happy. I really enjoyed the story
From Georgias journal to her friends and their struggles and storylines, every storyline showed that you’re not alone in this and I feel like many people need to hear that phrase more
so yeah I recommend this book to everyone you will feel loved, seen and this topic really deserves more attention. Also now I am up to date with every book by Alice Oseman and I am beyond exited about what’s next. Thank you :)
