This book kept me guessing and I had so many questions, which were of course answered by the end of it. I couldn't help but cringe and shout "why on earth would you do that!?!?" whenever Blake made any decisions, though he's the victim, he was very hard to like, he seemed like a right ass and he made the worst decisions. Like "my fiance poisoned me, she's about to kill our tenant, i can't call the police, but i will drive two hours while I have been poisoned, that will save her". I did find it hard to root for him, and that may have been the point.
Graphic: Murder, Gaslighting
Moderate: Suicide, Blood, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Alcoholism, Misogyny, Vomit
