The Burglar Who Liked to Quote Kipling by Lawrence Block

4.0

This was written in the 70s but reminds me of Agatha Christie's 30s mysteries. The author doesn't always play fair; the protagonist, one Bernie Rodenbarr, used bookstore owner and burglar extraordinaire, finds out information that is not shared with the reader until the info dump at the end. But the characters and dialog are a delight. A perfect beach or commute read.
