I really enjoyed this! No one writes pining quite like Jesse H. Reign, especially when it comes to friends to lovers. The way Sully wanted Jules was so palpable, it was a relief when they finally got together.
I love omegaverse, and I really enjoyed Jesse’s take on it. I loved everything about their time at the cabin, their first shifting, their designations, Jules’s first heat and Sully’s protectiveness over him. It was just sweet and romantic and sexy. I was obsessed.
I just wish we got more background on things that were mentioned. The white wolf lore, Mrs. O’Malley’s background, other packs and what became of Storm, the decline of births, the ban on male-on-male mating, etc. The conflict was resolved so quickly and everything ended so abruptly. I just wish we got a bit more world-building and lore and stuff.
I hope Jesse revisits this world or has another crack at omegaverse. I’d be really interested in reading more!
Also this brings me up-to-date on all of Jesse H. Reign’s books, and now I’m kind of unsure what to do with myself other than wait for her next release.
