Reborn by C.C. Hunter

"This is it! This us what I'm looking for" was what I was thinking when I read the book. Della is the type of protagonist that I was looking for. Most of the time. stories have characters that are indecisive, wimpy or just plain insecure. Della is different. Her personality is one that many admire. Strong. Level-headed (most of the time) Sarcastic. and mostly Badass. Yet , while she is strong, she is vulnerable, pained and wary of people.
The story and the mystery drew me in, but the clues instead of being subtle were very obvious . Sad to say most of the story was predictable, however I still enjoyed it. The character development of Chase was well written and the setting was quite realistic. Although I haven't read her previous book I can say C.C. Hunter 's is a very good storyteller.
The only thing I felt was unnecessary was the love triangle. Honestly, I feel it wouldn't exist if Della would just be honest to herself. Her mind is giving her so many clues, yet she won't admit them and keeps struggling between the two. I may be biased but I think Chase suits Della more. Something about the two just click.
Overall ,I really enjoyed the book. Enjoyed it so much that I'm literally raging that the 2nd book is not out yet.
