I ended up getting a seven day copy of this from the library so I did have to sprint through this a little bit, but honestly, this wasn't particularly heavy of a book. This is a pretty solidly T rated fic about a statue from the last book mentioned by the spider plant and her story on an island of enchanted greenhouses. The descriptions are goregous, and even if it doesn't really properly deal with its emotional conflict (I've been told magic is illegal all my life and I expect to be punished every time I use it, but now it's legal so I'm fine now! and also what you're describing is emotional abuse kid!), it's still a happy ending for everyone. Not sure how I feel about the minimization of conflict, but the author felt compelled to write it after she couldn't find a happy ending for one of her threads from the last book.
