An excellent sequel to Old Man’s War. It has great pacing, characters and story. It is very well balanced and I couldn’t put it down. Scalzi has created a very interesting universe. It is simple enough that the “interplanetary political relations” are easy to follow, but complex enough that it is still compelling.

Plus, Scalzi can write. He has a visceral and funny style that I really like. I’ll definitely be reading the rest of the series.
