Thank you to BookSirens for the advanced reader copy of this book! The premise was intriguing and I enjoyed reading it.
It was an easy read that kept me engaged. However, there wasn’t really any world building and character backgrounds weren’t fleshed out. It is a very “in the moment” story without much context to what came before to make the characters who they are and show why they behave and respond to things the way they do.
All in all, it was still a nice easy read that I enjoyed.
