I have to say that although intriguing, for much of the story I was disappointed. The premise was interesting & as this was my 2nd time reading the series, I remembered that I thought it was worth reading. But the writing was very unpolished, the characters were all over the place & it just didn't feel very cohesive as a story. Until the last maybe 25% of the book. Then I started to get more interested & the writing seemed a bit better. I think it's worth giving the next book a shot, but its very weak UF at the moment.
