A Dangerous Inheritance by Alison Weir
5.0
I have read one other of Alison Weir's books previously and that was Innocent Traitor which made me cry. This didn't but was no less brilliant. This book was very well written and all the factual and fictional events are matched so well that I had no idea what was real and what was made up. The story fair galloped along dragging you with it. My only complaint would be that having two main characters with the same name made it a tad confusing at times as to who was speaking. Once I had sorted out checking the details at the beginning of the chapter that confusion was solved. I thought this book was excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
