Very much enjoyed the story-telling and character building. You either liked someone or disliked them - there were not many, if any, characters that were just “there”.
Really interesting perspective on modern day struggles wonderfully interwoven with Metis folklore.
The ending felt a bit rushed, but I still can’t tell if it truly was, or whether I made it that way by rushing through it because I needed to find out what happened!
Definitely will check out more by Cherie Dimaline.
