A Stranger in the Family by Robert Barnard

3.0

I see this book gets a lot of poor reviews. But the story kept me wanting to finish so there's that.
I can only give less than three stars if I wish I'd never read the book.

Story seems formulaic: conceive a premise and protagonist then populate his world with caricatures. But the construction of the backstory was intriguing.

The ending is rubbish, but what else would you do?

Give it a miss.
