Intriguing story. I read this pretty quickly. I’m not normally a huge fan of Peter Pan or Peter Pan retellings, but I was hooked from the first page of this. It was a bit convoluted, but I’m hoping everything is thoroughly explained and resolved in the next book.

While I hate lying in books because it sets me on edge since it obviously has to all come out at some point, I really liked how Claire initially stood by Peter even when she doubted him (which she obviously was right to). I appreciated her genuine trust in him in the face of danger in order to stick together. While it came out later that he was in fact lying, she did dismiss him, but I thought she was did so with age beyond her years.

Easy read fantasy YA.
