I've said it before in an update and I'll say it again: Dani and Jax are fucking stupid. They go around in circles and it creates this vortex of drama, when all they have to do is just sit the hell down and talk. Despite that, the book is still highly entertaining and less convoluted than Dearest Clementine, hence the four stars. This book also taught me how communication is vital in a relationship, and how pride easily clouds our judgment.
I obviously like and enjoy this better than the first installment in this series. The main characters are more realistic and easy to sympathise with. The writing has also improved yet still easy to read. I'll be reading Kissing Madeline very soon and I can't wait to read it and have my thoughts on it.
