The House of Hades
by Rick Riordan
A great book.
Nothing ever stopped.
From the first few chapters when Hazel met Hecate I was hooked. I instantly wanted to know how Hazel could use the Mist and when she was able to use it I was shocked.
There was non stop action and it was a fun book to read.
There were several times where I wanted to cry because I was scared of what would happen - especially with Percy and Annabeth - there are several times where I wanted to hold my breath because I was scared.
Overall it was a good book. I loved hearing about Hazel and she’s definitely my favourite character that was introduced in Heroes of Olympus. Jason’s POVs are always so interesting so I’m disappointed we didn’t get more.
I’m excited to read the Blood of Olympus. I’ve heard that it’s not as good as the rest of the books in the series, but we will see.
