- I love Treebeard and I love the Ents
- Saruman conversation with the King of Rohan and Gandalf is perfection. Loved the voice
- Love Faramir and really enjoyed the small part he played and how his character is a contrast to Boromir
- Also love Gollum as a character. He's a very deep character with a lot of depth and I liked the brief shot of him reverting into a very old, and tired hobbit. It was a beautiful contrast to his current position
- Samwise is amazing and I definitely underappreciated him all my life
- A well written second book in the series where more than half of our company is up to fight a grand war while the other two small Hobbits is tasked to destroy a powerful ring to save them all
