A short but sweet (read: enjoyable) story! The “narrator” feels a bit like Nick of Gatsby fame in that they’re pretty much there just as a conduit of the actual story, but just like Nick, I liked them enough that I didn’t care they were basically just a plot device. I loved both of the women who featured majorly in the main story, and the setting was compelling as well. Will definitely seek out the other novellas in this series.
