Stevie St. James is a small town girl looking to follow her dreams of becoming a star. Lexington Hall is leaving Hollywood to escape his past and trying to find his peace.
But all it takes is one night, one accident, to turn their new friendship upside down. Stevie is left broken and Lex is long gone.
4 years later they are pushed back together, but they aren't the same people they were when they first met. Both are a little harder around the edges and not sure how things can move forward between them.
Nothing new here, I am a sucker for fake dating and this was so good. There was so much tension between Stevie and Lex through the WHOLE book and I ate it up! Dream on brought out all the emotions and was so beautifully written, I couldn't put it down! Grab your tissues and check your TWs before reading!
Dream on has:
🩵slow burn
🩵forced proximity
🩵fake dating
🩵high angst
🩵a lot of emotions
“The boy who thought he could conquer the world found himself buried under the weight of it.
And then came the girl. She didn’t sweep in like a savior and rescue him from his demons. She walked in quietly, unannounced, like she’d always been there, slipping into his world with eyes that saw past the mask he wore."
