Sultry, sexy and savage that is our unforgettable and ever lovable Vlad, but I would also say those words perfectly describe the unexpected force that is Delphine. These two are pure magic together, and I’m not talking about Vlad’s inherent essence.

“You know what I think?”
“What’s that?” Vlad said almost breathlessly.
“I think you’re trouble.”
Heat pooled in Vlad’s veins at the banked heat in her gaze.
“Good trouble or bad trouble?” he said, his tone dropping an octave.
She didn’t miss his attempt to seduce her. “Is there a difference?”

I can say with assurance that no there’s not when Delphine and Vlad are in the same room, and I loved every bit of their dynamite adventure. I wish this book was longer as I wanted more Vlad (always more when he’s on the page), more Tarang (adore that tiger), more cameos and hilarious bickering (read it and savor), more bewitching action and suspense (edge of my seat and then some) and more Delphine (she is freaking phenomenal). I hope we revisit this fantastic world again soon as I never want it to end.
