God-Shaped Hole by Tiffanie DeBartolo

5.0

"The days will always be brighter because he existed. The nights will always be darker because he's gone."

Right off the very first line of the book, I knew this would end this way. I FUCKING KNEW I FUCKING KNEW I FUVKING KNEW GOD DAMN IT! BUT HERE I AM CRYING AT 5:13 AM BECAUSE I JUST GOT MY HEART RIPPED OUT AND I SAW THIS COMING RIGHT FROM THE START BUT IT STILL HURTS SO BAD.

This book is so so good. I swear to read more of DeBartolo's work. I'm quite impressed. Her words just struck straight to the core.

This book is not a love story, it is more of a life story. I love how Jacob and Beatrice found one another in such an unusual way and they both changed each other's lives. Made it better. Challenged each other. Helped each other realize things and such. It was just so good to follow them on their journey.

I love Jacob. Damn, I love this off-beat tormented soul. He is just him. He wants to experience life at its barest form. He was such a sweetheart. I just love how imperfect he was. With all his flaws and his broken heart... I loved every bit of Jacob. That made him perfect for me.

Damn, I'm crying again.

The ending was just so depressing for me. I cannot think of this book and not cry. I just can't.

MUST READ.
