202 has been a year where many Americans have been learning about injustice more and more, and inevitably the question comes, “But what can I do?” I think this book provides a helpful way to think about resisting empire and oppression by providing examples of different types of resistance seen by the women in the story. Perhaps you are more inclined to civil disobedience, or to leveraging your privilege, or crossing boundaries to know your neighbors.
